If anyone says to you “no prophecy is of private interpretation” don’t listen to them. That is because they leave out the most valuable part. The verse says “No prophecy “OF SCRIPTURE” is of private interpretation….pay attention. They leave out the ‘of scripture part so that they can mislead you. Prophecy is about telling the future of what are in the promises of God. When you know this, you cannot misinterpret it, because Christ who is ‘the Word of God” is the spirit of prophecy. That means the Word of God validates the Word of God.Revelation 19:10….. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
