Forge and Weapon

I have waited to release any words about the riots and George Floyd’s death in the US. While everyone is looking toward man to seek justice, we must remember we are not to follow the world’s ways. Do you think all the turmoil that the world is presently experiencing is a surprise to God? No it isn’t. However while man is looking at the events on earth, no one is looking to the God of Justice to defend His honor. Yet thousands are defending man’s honor. So why is this all happening? Because God is speaking to a world that have slandered His Name and doctrine. God is showing what happens when a world turns it’s back on what is Truth and what is a lie. When the world can no longer tell the Truth from a lie, chaos insues. So how does one seek justice when the very definition of Truth of God is defiled and slandered? It cannot. However if

2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Notice He is talking to ‘those who are called by His Name.” He isn’t talking to the world, He is talking to HIs church. What are church leaders doing for the most part? They are looking at the world and what the world is doing instead of calling for repentance and to seek Justice that belongs to God in the first place. However when preachers only teach slander and false promises concerning God’s word, then people can expect war. Afterall, God is the blacksmith and He is the One that forges the weapons. Isaiah 54:16Behold, I have created the craftsman who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its task; and I have created the destroyer to wreak havoc. If you are not slandering God’s word, no weapon forged against you will prosper. The bigger question is not really about race, it’s about mankind. Is God using you as a destroyer or as someone to be saved from the destroyer. You choose.
