Biblical Feast Days

Most feast days on the Christian calendar although nice in purpose are not holy in nature. Why? Because man’s created feast days are not God’s appointed feast days. Believe it or not keeping God’s feast days shows our devotion and dedication not only to God’s Word, but in keeping them we are acknowledging His rule over us. When we keep them according the Word of God, we are acknowledging that God Himself is the moral authority over every living thing including angels and mankind.

Christmas, Easter and any other man made regulations that go along with these days are not holy. However God doesn’t acknowledge them. There are feast days in the bible that we are to keep forever.

Exodus 23

“Three times in the year you shall keep a feast to me. 15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. None shall appear before me empty-handed. 16 You shall keep the Feast of Harvest, of the firstfruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor. 17 Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord God.18 “You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with anything leavened, or let the fat of my feast remain until the morning.19 “The best of the firstfruits of your ground you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God.

The feast days are accompanied with a promise IF we keep them.

Exodus 23:22 “But if you carefully obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

Presently we are in the Feast of Unleavened Bread. We purge all leaven from our homes. Leaven is yeast, baking soda and baking powder. It is the agent that makes the puffiness in baked goods rise. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is still celebrated and is quoted in the New Testament. These feast days remain. These feast times identify God’s mark of authority over you. They are ordinances that we are to keep forever.

Exodus  12:17 You shall also observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because on this very day I brought your hosts [grouped according to tribal armies] out of the land of Egypt; therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations as an ordinance forever.

What is an ordinance?

Definition of ordinance
1 a : an authoritative decree or direction : order On that day the king signed three ordinances.
b : a law set forth by a governmental authority
-Law, rule, regulation, precept, statute, ordinance, canon mean a principle governing action or procedure.

It is a law that implies imposition by a sovereign authority and the obligation of obedience on the part of all subject to that authority.

Revelation speaks of the antichrist that thinks to change times and laws. Feast times are appointed by God not man. These feast days are ordinances. The spirit of antichrist has gone out to the whole world to cause you not to keep God’s times and laws. (Daniel 7:25)

It’s up to you which god or God you will obey and acknowledge as the true moral authority over your life. Don’t worship antichrist doctrine, worship God and God alone.

If you want to give during this Feast time as the ordinance states. Please bring your offering before God so that you will not appear before Him empty handed. God doesn’t care about the amount. He does care if you will acknowledge Him by keeping His feast day in the manner that He has given it to us.
