Give the devil no opportunity and no foothold.
Ephesians 4:27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
Satan looks for places where you can serve him. He does this through what appeals to your own desires and ego through the placement of opportunities. He needs alot of help to support his causes which speak to the mindset and behaviors that go against the Word of God. These opportunities come in the form of temptations. His goal is to create a foothold. Satan’s spirit wants you to walk with him or in support of him, instead of your foot walking over him. He is hungry for the desires of the flesh, because that’s what keeps him in power over you. Therefore he likes to promise you the same things that he tempted Jesus with. So he speaks against the Word of God, by trying to distort it. In every temptation there is the opportunity to go against the Word of God, which is the real government of God. Unless you stand up and choose to walk with the Word of God, you will give in to the opportunity to walk with Satan.
So what is a foothold?
A foothold is a position usable as a base for further advance. a place or support for the feet; a place where a person may stand or walk securely.
Every temptation is an opportunity to serve which spirit or Spirit rules in you. If God’s Spirit rules in you you will see every temptation as an opportunity to stand up for God. If you have Satan’s spirit ruling in you, then you will have every temptation as an opportunity to stand up for Satan. Satan likes to use your anger not only at someone to gain a foothold, but also for you to get angry at situations or positions in life as a way of entry. When the bible speaks that Satan is out there like a roaring lion, gaining someone to devour, the Word is speaking about anger. We are literally talking about Satan’s anger. He is angry that the pure Word of God has authority over him. So he uses anger to get you to sin and he uses trickery in order for you to walk with him.
It’s perfectly fine to get angry, but anger is just an opportunity for temptation. Satan’s idea of anger is different from our idea of anger. Satan wants God to be angry with you, because God is angry with Satan. So he needs you to support his cause. Because if you are not at peace with God then you are at war with Him. And if you are at war with God, then you are at peace with Satan. So give no opportunity to devil to allow yourself to walk with him, because if he has to tempt you, then you know you are already walking with God.
It is justified to be angry with temptations and against a spirit that goes against God’s Holy Spirit. But do not let this anger cause you to sin. Because if you do then you have given Satan someone to walk with.
Ephesians 4:26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and give no opportunity to the devil.

Madam prophet why is it that now days men of God are preaching on prophecy rather than impacting the word of God?
Because they don’t really know what the Word of God actually is..and therefore have no idea of the value of it..you cannot have impact on things you don’t know
