Possessed!
There is a term called possession mentioned in the bible. This is not Hollywood movies possession but real possession that is biblically-based. We are either are God’s Possession or Satan’s possession. In the bible all individuals are possessed. That means individuals are possessed by their owner and that owner is a father or Father. When someone is possessed by God the Father in heaven, then the individual is a son and anyone who is possessed by Satan is a son/daughter of Satan.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. …Those who are called out of darkness can identify darkness and they are lights that continually call out the darkness. The darkness is found in the doctrines that demons teach through false leaders. These are those who belong to the devil and do the devil’s bidding.
John 8:44 New International Version (NIV)
44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. ..When an individual belongs to the devil they are possessed by Satan and teach others to do the same whether in action or word. Therefore we can be possessed by God by choosing to obey His doctrine or possessed by Satan who do the doctrines from demons.
