Trouble With Giving

If you don’t want to give your tithe or any offerings to your pastor because you don’t like what he does with it..then let me clear up some things for you. First of all you shouldn’t be giving if your mind is thinking that way. Because in your head you are not giving it to God, you are giving it to man. Secondly, [beautifulquote align=”left” cite=””]if you are concerned about what he or she does with it, then you aren’t really giving it at all. [/beautifulquote]When you give something you don’t monitor it after you give it. Can you imagine if someone gave you money and then looked over your shoulder to see how you spent it. Would you consider that a gift? or would that be a burden to you? Thirdly, you don’t give to get. It’s not quid pro quo. You give because you love to give. Anything else is compulsion.Fourth thing is if you don’t want to give your tithes to your leader, then why are you there? If you don’t trust them with your money, then why do you trust them with your soul. So why does God want us to give? Simply because He gave. He gave His Son. He gave His Word so that you can have Eternal Life. To open up the windows to Eternal Life, God commands that you give. Why does He use money? Because it’s the greatest form of bondage that man will have to overcome. How do you know if you are in bondage to the world of money? The answer is when you would rather keep it than give it. It shows you how much of a love affair you have with it. On this page, thousands are helped, but do any give? no…no one gives regardless of how much God answers them. So if you won’t give to a real prophet so that God can receive it, then you have to ask yourself. Do you love your money more than God? or do you use God to get money? Something to think about. Perhaps you didn’t know that when you don’t give appropriately and in the manner that God said to give, you are killing the Word of God by making it unfruitful. You are stealing from those who are dependant on your offering by keeping it for yourself so that you can retain your own blessings. This leaves you in a dishonorable place because you have stolen from those who are able to continue to teach and guide you. And you are destroying not only your spiritual life but any spiritual blessings that God has in store for you. By doing these things you become an enemy of God, because you rebel against whom He has sent, thus rebelling against God Himself.
