A gimmick is a trick or device intended to attract attention, publicity, or business. Many of you fall for it, because it gives you a sense of power. But that power is short lived. Gimmicks are everywhere in the church. False teachers rely on them to trick you into you believing that you have great power if you sow this much according to some psalm. Or if you talk a certain way, that God will hear you, especially if it’s accompanied with a monetary amount. These people are salesmen, not preachers. And what you end up with is trouble, because God is watching as you entertain the desires of your flesh.[/stextbox]
